Late to the party I know, but I did want to talk about FASHION’S DIRTY SECRET with Stacey Dooley. I was so disappointed that none of the brands that I chat to on a daily basis would give an interview. Brands are always keen to talk to Fabulous Magazine about the journey they are on to become both sustainable and ethical. And it is a journey. It isn’t something that can be achieved over night. So this is my message to all the brands that work with me each week. When you get the opportunity to talk, we all want to listen. We know you are not perfect but want to see that you are taking steps in the right direction. We want hear about how you are investing for the future of fashion. We want to know who made our clothes and that the people who do are treated fairly. We want to talk about your achievements and openly discuss where you are at and where you want to be this time next year. We do not want to see you scurry away when a microphone is offered to you. I was particularly shocked by the amount of water it takes to make a pair of highstreet jeans. This is a new denim brands that I have discovered. IDEN it uses 75% less water than an average pair of highstreet jeans. These ones are £155 so spenny I know, but they literally the softest denim I have ever worn, they feel like cashmere. So let’s get this very long over due party started! Let’s talk about SUSTAINABILITY, baby Let’s talk about you and me Let’s talk about all the good things and the bad things that may be! Modified SALT ‘n’ PEPPA 1990... Tray’s Lounge 2018 I have tagged a few brands that I work with.... I would love to hear where you are at! #trayleslay #shesinfashion #whomademyclothes #fashionrevolution #ethicalfashion #gift #sustainablefashion @sjdooley @knowles_comms
